Overall a very refined Genki driving feel. Looking out your side windows at your opponent during the countdown is also awesome. Again, very impressive! With the dope cockpit view(which I'm used to from Forza) it made the handling so much easier to control. Great sticker system, just spot on customization. The engine bays look fantastic, I can't wait to unlock all the upgrades to see them. I've played tons of Forza on my one X and in 4k, and still think Genki killed it with this game. The cars, lighting, and city all look surreal. The game looks great for an early 360 game. Then I said fuck it and bought Import Tuner Challenge. Then I played 3 again, and was kind of impressed with the graphical improvement, which surprised me. I was hooked, the progression in that game is so addicting. ![]() I was feeling nostalgic a few weeks ago and fired up Zero. The diversity of rivals was a main component of my TXR joy, and so I wrote it off and never played through it.įast forward over a decade and here we are. Like perhaps many of you, I was a huge fan of Tokyo Xtreme racer since I was a wee lad, starting since 13 year old me got Zero on ps2.įast forward to teenage me, who was super excited to hear Import Tuner Challenge was actually a Tokyo Xtreme Racer, but was feeling heartbroken when I saw how small the car list was. ![]()
